I was absolutely thrilled to discover that I have won this award. I began Kingfisher Guides as an enjoyable way to share my love for fishing, teach fly casting, and connect with many wonderful people. It has truly been a fantastic experience meeting individuals from around the globe and forming genuine friendships with those who return each year. I want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported me along the journey and to the amazing guests who have left reviews. I truly appreciate it. I never imagined that a small company offering fishing trips could rank in the top 10% of attractions worldwide!
Anyway enough of awards what's been going on with the fishing. Well as you know July has been very hot and water temperatures far too hot for fishing! So for a couple of weeks I did not fish at all and then the only fishing was very early morning or late evening until temperatures started to drop. I did however have some great session teaching people to cast which is always great fun. Now we are into August I am expecting the wind and the rain to return which is great for the fishing maybe not so much me!
