Perch fishing has become really popular in the last few years. And because Perch are found in nearly every Loch, river and canal in Scotland their are endless opportunities. Light jig fishing is tremendous fun and allows you to cover lots of water as you can travel light and walk until you find the fish. However you can also fish the fly for these wonderfully marked fish and occasionally get a real big one.

Perch where one of the first fish I ever caught and Scotland has loads of them so if you fancy trying to catch these stripey, spiky fish give me a shout.
