After such a good year had to have one more go on the river and it ended in style with a cracking wild brown trout which really surprised me as it was in about 6 inches of water!

I also had one more go on my local water to see if I could get a few bites and the day just kept getting better and better. What an amazing year for brown Trout I really can't wait for 2023!

I will be now be doing a lot of Grayling, Pike and Rainbow Trout fishing until the Brown Trout season starts again in March 2023. So if you fancy a challenge and you don't mind the cold give me a shout for any trips over the winter. And if your more of a fine weather fisher I am also now taking booking for next year.

Don't forget to keep up to date with all my fishing trips on my facebook and Instagram.

After a crazy start to September for Mark and Matt in the previous post I was unsure if we could top that or had my luck run out but after meeting some amazing people and putting the hours in below are some of the fish that clients landed in September! Roll on October!

Randall above from Pennsylvania USA with some stunning Wild Brown Trout.

Kevin from Colorado USA had an amazing two day trip with Wild Brown Trout caught from the mighty Loch Leven and Carron Valley.

Me and Bruce with a double hook up !!!! What an adrenaline rush!

Bruce had an epic day on Loch Leven with a 20lb fish and 4 others over the 15lb mark! And this was his first Scottish fishing experience and first Scottish Pike!

You need to get out there and go for it whatever the weather conditions and with a bit of luck things just happen. What a fantastic month so don't forget to book your trip for next year!

Mark and Matt both had 20lb plus fish !!!!!

This trip had been booked and planned for some time and the goal was a 20lb Scottish Pike. We all couldn't wait to get on the water and see what was going to happen. As usual on the journey to the Loch we were dreaming of massive Pike but nothing had prepared us for what was going to happen over the next 3 days.

After arriving at the venue nice and early I had a couple of spots i mind but as usual the weather was going to dictate where and how would could fish but we settled in a spot and started fishing. First cast a very nice Pike for Matt so we were all thinking some thing special was going to happen and then boom 30 minutes later a 25lb Pike in the net !

Mark with his 25lb fish!

The Pike just kept coming and we ended up with 8 fish on the first day many of them over 10lb ! Every fish handled with care and safely returned.

The second day we were all thinking nothing can top that but Matt pulled this beast out a little over 20lb ! Mark also had a good fish that day of over 10lb!

The third day was going to be interesting as we changed venue and tactics. We ended up catching Pike, Perch and Rainbow Trout it honestly doesn't get better fishing than this. Great company, great fishing and more amazing memories made.
