A stunning fin perfect Rainbow caught in March.
The last couple of months Scotland has been battered with heavy rain, wind and snow but if you put the time in you can normally get a few good results. So this winter I have been mainly concentrating on the Grayling with a few trips for the Rainbow Trout. Its not been easy but I have had some lovely fish.

If you fancy a trip over the winter its important to be realistic its going to be cold, wet and probably difficult but your not going to catch the fish from your hotel room.
