What an astounding year it has been, filled with remarkable trips and the formation of numerous new friendships. It has been an absolute delight to organize and meet people from all corners of the globe, including Australia, the USA, Canada, Alaska, and France, just to mention a few.
A huge thank you goes out to all the fishery managers who have placed their trust in me and allowed me to guide on their waters in various conditions. In Scotland, it can be challenging when guests have just one day to fish and the conditions aren't ideal. However, being in Scotland, we simply have to manage and always have a plan B.

People frequently ask me about the best time to visit, and my response is to simply pick a date, mark it on the calendar, and we'll head out to see what unfolds. I fish in all kinds of weather throughout the year, and each day offers a unique experience. The best approach is to commit and enjoy the adventure. I meticulously plan everything, but the fish and the weather remain beyond my control!

If your interested in booking a trip for next year get in touch and don't forget to have a look at facebook and instagram for all my latest adventures. All my trips include everything you need for a great day on the water and lunch is available too.

So that's a wrap on the Brown Trout Season but plenty of trips planned for Pike, Perch and Grayling over the next few months. I will also be doing loads of research with new venues trying to make sure I am always offering people who book the very best Scotland can offer. As well as all the usual things winter brings like casting lessons, servicing life jackets, tying flies, cleaning and replacing gear and of course planning for next year.
Don't forget to keep up to date by following me on instagram or Facebook.
Cheers JJ
